On Saturday 2nd July and Sunday the 3rd July we welcomed our new Priests and Deacons.
The Bishop of Ely is delighted to announce that The Revd Canon Richard John St Clair Harlow is to be Archdeacon of Huntingdon and Wisbech.

A 13m long table created from a 5,000 year old fossilised black oak tree, discovered in the fens, has made its debut appearance at Ely Cathedral.
We are very pleased to announce that the Diocese of Ely is about to join in the rollout of a national Digital (or ‘contactless') Giving scheme. The scheme is part of the Church of England's broader National Giving strategy, which has committed £1.25m to equip thousands more churches to accept digital / contactless payments over the next two years.

In collaboration with the local Wildlife Trust, St Mary's Comberton set-up a scheme to encourage parishes to turn their churchyards into wildlife havens. After an initial survey in 2020, the vicar, David Newton, set up a small Steering Group to explore how the church might respond.
