The Diocese of Ely is aware of reports regarding the Bishop of Lincoln, The Rt Revd Stephen Conway, who served as Bishop of Ely until his departure in May 2023.

In a letter to the Diocese, The Rt Revd Dr Dagmar Winter, The Bishop of Huntingdon and currently Acting Bishop of Ely, has announced that the Diocese of Edinburgh (Scottish Episcopal Church) has published that its Synod has elected her to be the next Bishop of Edinburgh.
