The Bishop of Ely’s garden was recently open to the public, along with seven other private gardens in Ely, to help raise money for a number of charities, contributing to a brilliant £4,801 raised.
Among others, the charities included;
- Marie Cure
- Macmillan Cancer Support
- Hospice UK
- Carers Trust
- The Queen’s Nursing Institute
- Parkinson’s UK.
Congratulations to all involved in the organising and managing the garden open days. The day was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
