Leading your Church into Growth: What's it all about?
Leading your Church into Growth (LyCiG) has been used successfully in parishes right across the UK and beyond as a vehicle to help churches grow.
Watch and listen as Deputy Director of Mission and Ministry, Peter Leech, gives us a taste of what to expect at the conference:
Ely Diocese LyCiG conference will be delivered as a hybrid affair. LyCiG will be delivering all the input via zoom (a link will be sent through as part of the joining pack).
We encourage people from the same benefice to physically gather together around a screen to hear, watch and have in-person conversations.
Learning developed over the years has shown that the conference is much more effective if there are more than one person from a benefice attending. It means that these people can make plans and decide next-steps.
To support this, the Diocese will cover the cost for the incumbent and two other people from the benefice to attend the conference. This could be a church warden, PCC member, ALM, LLM or someone who is passionate about seeing the church grow.
Other members are of course welcome, at a charge of £40 pp to cover the cost of the resources. We can invoice at the time of booking.
The conference timings are set out below:
Friday 19th 6:30-9:30pm (with breaks)
Saturday 20th 9:00am-1:00pm (with breaks)
Sunday 21st 1:00-3:30pm (with breaks)
