A Garden Party to celebrate the 400 years since the Ferrars arrived.
The Church of England has published a prayer on the death of HRH The Duchess of Kent.
Creationtide or the Season of Creation is the period in the annual church calendar, from 1st September to 4th October, dedicated to God as Creator and Sustainer of all life.
We have been notified of a data breach that has occurred involving personal data processed by Access Personal Checking Services Ltd (APCS), acting as the data processor for those using APCS for DBS applications. In addition to many parishes across the Church of England, the breach has also affected a number of separate Dioceses and also the NCIs, all of whom also use APCS.
At the end of a hot and humid day in Melbourn, we held a service to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Victory in Japan. The weather set the scene as we focussed on those who had fought in and been taken prisoner or died in the Far East.

We were sorry to learn this week of the death of the former Bishop of Ely, The Rt Revd Dr Anthony Russell. Dr Russell served Ely Diocese from 2000 to 2010, as well as making a notable contribution to the national church's thinking about rural ministry.
