Deepening Roots of our Life in Christ. A day of refreshment for busy ministers, Clergy and LLMs in the Diocese of Ely and beyond.
Throughout the 27th January (2026), Bishop Sarah travelled across our Diocese, visiting schools, churches, businesses and community groups, meeting clergy, lay ministers and diocesan staff - listening to local stories and seeing at first-hand the breadth of ministry and mission taking place.
A group of eight curates and clergy from the Diocese of Ely visited our link Diocese of Kigali in Rwanda, visiting local churches, communities and experiencing life in Kigali.
Ely Cathedral and the Diocese of Ely are delighted to be hosting a Racial Justice Conference, with the support of the Racial Justice Unit. The conference will look at how remembering the stories of our past can help to shape how we live together today and how we reimagine the stories of our future.
Across the Diocese, churches are embracing the challenge of growing younger, and the Launchpad program is proving to be a powerful catalyst for change. Designed to support parishes in developing children and youth ministry, Launchpad is helping churches take small, intentional steps that lead to lasting transformation.
