Bishop Dagmar is delighted to announce that The Revd Dr Catherine Wright has accepted the invitation to become the Diocesan Director of Ordinands (DDO).
Catherine is currently the Acting DDO and will continue in this part-time role until the end of July (2022), with a month’s leave in August. She will then be working full-time from the beginning of September (2022).
Bishop Dagmar commented: “This is excellent news for us. I have really appreciated working with Catherine, she has a warm heart for ordinands and such wisdom in discernment. We can move forward with confidence as we develop our work with the new selection processes of the Church of England.”
Catherine adds: "I have very much enjoyed working with many of you over the past year and look forward to taking on the DDO role permanently from September, ably supported by our administrator Zoe, and sharing the responsibility with members of the Mission and Ministry team in the diocese to develop our vocations work."
