From March 2020, the National Lottery Heritage Fund will be accepting applications for £100,000 to £250,000 at any time and will provide a decision within 8 weeks.
This change will make the scheme a little easier to understand as grants will now fit broadly into two categories:
- Grants under £250,000 - a one-stage application, with no deadlines and an 8-week decision period
- Grants over £250,000 - a two-stage application with quarterly deadlines and a 12-week decision period.
Before March, applications for grants between £100,000 and £250,000 were subject to quarterly deadlines, despite only being one-stage applications. Any applications that were made before the deadline on the 19th November 2019 will still receive a decision by the end of March 2020.
