Exploring Lay Ministry

Find out more about Lay Ministry possibilities at our online information evenings

There are thousands of lay ministers using their gifts in a wide variety of different roles, serving alongside ordained ministers. Youth and children’s ministers, authorised lay ministers, authorised local leaders, licensed lay ministers, and many chaplains, evangelists, missionaries and pioneers are lay people, who are not ordained.

Could Lay Ministry be for you?

Come along to one of our Explorers evenings and find out more about the range of lay ministry roles available across the diocese, as well as the discernment process, training and support available.
