The Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, has announced this year’s (2020) recipients of the Lambeth Awards for outstanding contributions to the Church and wider society.
This year we’re delighted to share the news that our very own Hugh McCurdy, Archdeacon of Huntingdon and Wisbech, was recognised with an Award, the Canterbury Cross for Services to the Church of England.
This award is offered for dedication, loyalty and service to the mission of the Church of England with a particular focus on the mentoring and discipling of others, especially junior clergy.
Very many congratulations to Hugh for this very well deserved recognition of service to the Church of England.
