Many people have felt a great sense of joy and relief as they have received the vaccine. Others are confident that their turn will come.
As a way of expressing our gratitude, we as a Diocese have thought that we could support our brothers and sisters in Rwanda. Like all countries they have experienced school and church closures alongside much of business. Normal life for them has stopped as well. This has meant that some of the poorest and most vulnerable in the country have suffered the most.
Last year we supported their food programme. This year we want to continue that as well as support others in Kigali diocese- those with no savings and very little income as they are dependent of what they can earn during the day.
Paul in Colossians 3 reminds the church to let the peace of Christ rule our hearts, to be thankful and to express our gratitude.
