The Prince of Peace Choir performed at St Andrew's Church, Alwalton on Sunday (13th October) evening.
The choir is in the Diocese along with Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Kigali, Rev. Nathan Amooti Rusengo on a tour of the Diocese of Ely.
Kigali Diocese is linked with the Diocese of Ely and both Bishop Nathan and the choir have been touring the Diocese since the 10th October, before returning home on the 22nd October.
Some of the highlights of the tour over the coming days are below.
- Tuesday 15th - Evensong King's College
- Wednesday 16th - St Bedes School followed by joining Cambourne Gospel Choir
- Thursday 17th - St Marys School, St Neots (9 - 10.30am) and Dry Drayton Primary School (10.30am - 1pm)
- Friday 18th - Soham St Andrews School followed by an evening concert in Chatteris at 7pm
- Saturday 19th - Performing for Diocesan Synod at the Hayward Theatre (Kings School, Ely)
- Sunday 20th - Visiting Impington (9.30am), Histon (10.30am) and Comberton (17.30pm)
