The bond between St Andrew's Church, Soham and its local church school will be strengthened this week as the Revd Eleanor Whalley joins the outgoing head teacher, Mike Harrison, in a fundraising baked-bean-bath!
The challenge is hoped to raise as much money as possible for support and equipment for the school, to help and enrich the children's lives during their time at St Andrews CofE.
St Andrew's School PTA who are organising the fundraiser have already beaten their initial fundraising target of £500, and now hope to double it.
Money raised will go towards the purchase of new outdoor equipment for the school, and to support Ely Foodbank in Soham.
