Clergy and their families from across the Diocese were invited to a Family Garden Party in the Bishop's garden earlier this summer.
Bishop Stephen and Bishop Dagmar joined Clergy serving in the Diocese of Ely and their families for an afternoon making Mocktails, taking selfies and playing garden games. The annual Summer garden party event is organised by the Bishop's staff, and this year included children's entertainment, music and games - which were thoroughly enjoyed by all ages, not just by the kids.
Sand play, simple crafts, biscuit decorating, playdough, toys and bubbles were provided for the under 5's. Plus an ice cream cart, platters of delicious snacks, sand art and other crafts, a cupcake decorating station and glitter facepainting, guests really were spoilt for choice.
The Mission and Ministry team, their families, and other volunteers from across the diocese helped the event to run smoothly by sharing their best selfie poses and mocktail-making expertise!
