As we seek to grow younger and more diverse, we have an exciting, and fully funded, training opportunity for those looking to grow and develop their ministry with children and young people.
The Catalyst training programme is designed to equip, empower and resource those looking to serve our children and young people. Catalyst is a dynamic training course that aims to equip and connect those who work with children and young people in the local church. It is aimed at those who want to be a catalyst for change in our churches and communities, providing an opportunity to gain new knowledge and skills to lead children and young people.
Delivered by Ridley Hall and facilitated locally by Ruth and Mike (our Development Officers for Children and Young People), encouraging you to be part of a local learning community and network. The course is delivered online and studied in your own time, with five monthly sessions that include approximately three hours work and then a two hour locally facilitated group. There's also an induction day at Ridley Hall in March, and a 2 night weekend conference in Derbyshire, and includes the option to complete an additional assignment to gain 20 credits at a level four qualification.
Commencing in early March, there are limited places available - so please let us know as soon as possible if you might be interested. Please pass the details to anyone in your teams who may be interested or may benefit from this training.
For more information or to register an interest in the course, please contact Ruth New (Development Officer for Children and Families) ruth.new@elydiocese.org or Mike Kelly (Development Officer for Young People and families) mike.kelly@elydiocese.org.
