St John's Church, Waterbeach, is actively seeking an enthusiastic Youth Minister to become a passionate advocate for mission and evangelism within the vibrant and thriving community of Waterbeach.
As a missional church deeply rooted in the local community, we are committed to extending the love of Christ beyond our church walls. Waterbeach Village has experienced recent growth, resulting in a significant increase in families and young people. Moreover, the entire area is seeing substantial expansion with the ongoing development of a new town to the north of the village.
As a new paid role, we have funding for a youth worker to build on the existing volunteer youth provision at St John’s – supporting the young people who are already a part of our church family. We are actively looking for additional funding to top this up - in time and with the right candidate we are keen to see our youth provision expand to reach out to young people within the wider community.
If you possess a passion for mission, are creatively inclined, energetic, and thrive in a collaborative team environment, we encourage you to apply! The complete Job Description and Person Specification can be provided upon request.
