The Reverend Jon Sanders currently Associate Minister, the Cherry Hinton Benefice has been appointed as Chaplain to Jesus College.
The Reverend Kristian Sydney Hewett currently Associate Priest, The Good Shepherd, Chesterton, Chaplain to the Homeless Community with CCHP and Bishop’s Officer for Homelessness in the Diocese of Ely has been appointed as Rector of St George with St Mary, Hornsey in the Diocese of London.
The Bishop of Ely is pleased to announce that The Revd Robert John Kean, currently Chaplain to St Vincent, Algarve, Portugal, in the Diocese of Europe, is to be Incumbent (Rector) of Somersham, Pidley, Old Hurst & Woodhurst (subject to satisfactory DBS check).
The Revd Hilary Antoinette Francesca Young, currently Rector of Gamlingay and Everton, is retiring on 31 July 2026 (her last day in the Benefice). Hilary’s last Sunday in the Benefice will be Sunday 26th July
The Bishop of Ely is pleased to announce that The Revd Sharon Byrne, currently Assistant Curate in training, at Fen Ditton, Horningsea and Teversham, is to be Priest in Charge to serve in the benefice of Buckden with the Offords (in the anticipation once the pastoral scheme is completed to become Vicar of Buckden).
