We were sorry to hear of the death on 11th May 2025 at the age 84 of The Rev’d Howard Clive Bigg and remember his wider family in our prayers.
From the Crockford’s entry for Howard:
Howard was born in 1940 and attended Fitzwilliam College Cambridge, taking a BA in 1968 and Ma in 1972 . He trained for ordination at Ridley College Cambridge and was ordained deacon in 1974 and priest 1975.
He served as Curate at St Joseph’s Church Workshop from 1974-76 and then became a Minor canon at St Albans from 1976-77 and had PTO in Chester 1978-82 and Ely 1982-99
He served as Vice-principal of Romsey House Cambridge from1986-89 and went on to become NSM at St Benedict’s Cambridge from 1999-01, retiring in 2005. He held PTO in Ely Diocese from 2008-13 and onwards from 2015.
