We are sorry to hear of the death on Sunday 11 June 2023 of Patricia Sledge.
A Service of Thanksgiving for her life was held at St Mary Magdalene Church, Brampton on 28 June.
After reading Physics at Newnham College, Cambridge, in 1957 she married Richard (formerly Archdeacon of Huntingdon). As well as supporting Richard in his ministry, Patricia was a trustee of Ridley Hall for 26 years.
In retirement Patricia was Treasurer for the parish of Brampton and founder of the Brampton Befrienders and the Brampton Flower Guild.
