The Revd Canon David Paul Pritchard, currently Diocesan Retired Clergy Officer, is stepping down from this role on 31 December 2023, after 11 years of service. David is remaining in the Diocese of Ely and holds Bishop’s Permission to Officiate.
Bishop Stephen says:
“I’m most grateful to David for the work he has done for us all since January 2013 and I’m delighted that David will journey with us for the rest of 2023. He is an exceptional pastor. With David and his Team of Retired Clergy Officers, retired clergy, clergy widows and widowers have been very well supported.
I'm pleased to let you know that Canon Gill Jessop (currently Assistant Officer for the deaneries of St Neots, Huntingdon, St. Ives and Yaxley) has accepted my invitation to succeed David as Retired Clergy Officer from 1st January 2024”.
