The Acting Bishop of Ely is pleased to announce that the Revd James Douglas Geoffrey Shakespeare, Vicar of St John the Evangelist, Cambridge; Bishop’s Spirituality Adviser and Assistant Diocesan Director of Ordinands, has accepted the invitation to be Rural Dean for the Cambridge South Deanery in succession to the Revd Rachel Rosborough.
James will be commissioned by the Archdeacon of Cambridge on 18 September 2023.
