Following the decision of the Christ Church, Huntingdon’s Church Council to leave the Church of England, the Bishop’s Mission Order will not be renewed after 24 February 2024 and therefore will cease from that date.
This decision to leave means that The Revd Jonathan Charles Dymoke (Charlie) Newcombe, currently Minister in Charge of Christ Church Huntingdon, will no longer be a licensed minister in the Diocese of Ely and therefore will not be able to officiate as a Church of England cleric or appear on the National Register of Clergy.
