Introducing the Bishop's Lent Challenge 2024
I am delighted to commend this year’s Bishop’s Lent Challenge to you. For 2024, we are going to focus on Climate Change action around the world and how the bible teaches us about God’s world as well as our place in it from the past, the present and the future. This year we have formed a working partnership with USPG and the challenge resource has many powerful examples of communities around the world who have tackled environmental problems and are making changes. We hope your children enjoy learning about them.
As last year, we would love to hear from and receive responses from your children as to how they have tackled the challenge. After you have completed the challenge, we hope to display the responses from schools also on this website. Please send your responses to schoolsmission@elydiocese.org.
I hope you enjoy working on the challenge with your pupils and I look forward to seeing our pupils engage with this exciting challenge.
