Mothering Sunday

The Mothers’ Union theme for Mothering Sunday this year is “The Gift of Peace” to support our Worldwide Parenting Programme, Literacy Programme helping women to start their own businesses and tackling gender-based violence.

A Mothering Sunday prayer for Peace & Strength

Heavenly Father,
On this special day we lift up our mothers and all who care for and nurture others. We thank You for their endless love and peace they bring into our lives. As they model Your compassion, may they also be filled with Your peace, even in the midst of challenges. We pray for the Mothers’ Union, as they work tirelessly to support families and spread the message of peace in every corner of the world. Lord grant them strength and the peace that comes only from You.
