I am grateful to Rev Duncan Goldthorpe for agreeing to become the next Rural Dean of Huntingdon. Canon Mike Booker will be assisting Duncan in the Deanery role. However, we have agreed there will be a 6-month delay in Duncan taking up the post of Rural Dean in order to allow him to continue to settle into his parochial ministry. In the meantime, Mike has very kindly agreed, not to be Rural Dean but to be a point of focus and to support and convene the Chapter.
I give thanks to God for both of them and trust you will join me in praying for them as well as for the mission and ministry of all in Huntingdon Deanery.
