The Revd Dr Megan Daffern, currently Diocesan Director of Ordinands and Vocations, is leaving this post and taking up the role of a Tutor and Bye-Fellow at Lucy Cavendish College, University of Cambridge.
She will be developing her academic work and teaching in Biblical Studies. Her last day in office will be 18 August. She continues to teach for the Eastern Region Ministry Course and will be contributing to the ministry of the Cambridge North Deanery as SSM.
The Bishop of Huntingdon says: “We are very grateful indeed for all Megan has contributed during her time as DDOV, and I would like to thank her both personally for our work together and on behalf of all ordinands and now curates as well as LLMs who she has accompanied on their vocational pathway. It is good to know she is not going far and all our prayers and good wishes go with her on the next step of her journey.”
