Looking out for others
Wilburton Primary School
The Courageous Advocacy award was presented, for the first time at Wilburton Primary School, to a pupil who has shown time and time again their empathy for others. This pupil notices other children across the school, and takes the time to come and talk to school staff when there is concern for them. Beyond that, they then take action on their own accord to help make others happier and more fulfilled. There are lots of occasions when this pupil has done this over the year, so much so that now it is habit and part of their character. In recognition of this, the head teacher was delighted to present the award for Courageous Advocacy to Jorja.
