St Andrew's Church, Soham held a Heritage Morning - a celebration of the heritage crafts and skills which built and preserve our historic building. Foundation learning tier students from Soham Village College attended a Heritage Morning at St Andrew's, to learn lots of information about the Heritage trades and to give them some hands-on experience of those trades. Deputy Headteacher at Soham Village College, Julie MacIntyre, was delighted to be involved in the morning, and commented that merging the two areas of History, which is an important part of the national curriculum, and seeing those practical skills in action was a really eye-opening experience for students.
