‘Come away to a deserted place all by yourselves and rest a while.’
Places of Quiet or Retreat
For many, visiting a Retreat House or Religious Community, for a Quiet Day or Retreat, can unlock a transforming experience of drawing near to God, and rediscovering God’s presence in our lives.
The Diocese of Ely Retreat House, Bishop Woodford House, Ely, is no longer available. However there are a number of other Retreat Centres, within the wider region. Quiet Days are also possible in any Parish Church, Quiet Garden or other suitable location.
