There are a number of options available to support you raise funds for your parish.

In addition to the Parish Giving Scheme and Contactless Card reader options, linked in the menu to the right, the following options are also availble for your church.

Will Aid

Will Aid is a secular charity that coordinates participating solicitors who assist individuals to make or update their will and make a gift to one or more of a group of specified charities that includes Christian Aid.

Legacies

Regular planned giving to Anglican churches outstrips annual giving to our biggest UK charities and many of us give regularly to the church each week or month from our income.

All the information you need can be found on the Parish Resources website.

Gift Aid

Gift Aid is a government policy that enables tax-effective giving by individuals to charities in the UK. It is a valuable source of income for your parish, which can increase donations received under the scheme by 25%.

More information can be found on the Parish Resources website. Further guidance is on the HMRC website.

The Diocesan Finance team can also support you with Gift Aid, more information can be accessed by contacting the Diocesan Gift Aid Support Officer, Sarah Hewitt on [email protected] or by phone on 01353 652707
