The Diocese of Ely is passionate about promoting and developing good work with children, young people and their families.
Children are spiritual beings with their own thoughts and feelings about God. Our role is to support, nurture and encourage them as they grow to a full and mature faith in Christ and to help them find their place to serve in the church community. As we seek to support children we will engage with their families, offering support for them to develop faith practices in the home that enable everyone in the family to grow and flourish as they learn from each other. In Matthew 18:3 Jesus challenges adults to become like little children in order to enter the kingdom of heaven. Children and young people often lead the way in growing and developing in faith.
