Our Elderberries Group meeting fell on Easter Monday this year (2025). We went ahead as we all know Bank Holidays can be lonely times. One member brought a cake and sausage rolls. Volunteers brought cakes and flowers, and when Phil the Rector made a pot of tea, we were ready to party. We started with a prayer from BRFs 100 prayers, caught up with each other, sang songs, shared several ‘2 minute special memories’, congratulated a volunteer celebrating a 53rd wedding anniversary, and finished with a reflection from BRF’s Bible reflections. Simple but satisfying to be together and create another happy memory.
