What three things can you do in April to take your first steps (or more!) as a church on your eco journey?
1. Friday 4 April is Walk to Work Day, challenging us to enjoy a slower but more sustainable ways to travel to work. If walking isn’t possible for any reason, how about travelling by bicycle, bus or train, even for just part of the journey.
2. 7-13 April is Community Garden Week, time perhaps to consider supporting or establishing a local community or school garden, creating an opportunity for your community to enjoy working together in nature whilst benefitting from a more positive sense of well-being.
3. Tuesday 22 April is Earth Day, you might want to plan a Climate Fresk, or a Zero Carbon Cities Training session to engage your church community with living more sustainably to protect God’s earth.
