Respond by 11 September
This is your opportunity to help shape the final version of the Local Nature Recovery Strategy for Cambridgeshire.
In the consultation draft, however, it hardly mentions churchyards and burial grounds, despite their value for biodiversity and community engagement.
If this also concerns you, would you be willing to respond to this consultation, explaining that you think churchyards and burial grounds ought to be included? Ideally, you could explain too why you think this, perhaps mentioning something about your own churchyard and community.
You can either write a simple email to localnaturerecoverystrategy@cambridgeshire.gov.uk or you could respond more fully to the consultation via their website: Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Local Nature Recovery Strategy Consultation. This also lists the drop-in sessions in local libraries if you want to speak to someone in person.
The deadline is soon! Thursday 11 September.
