Cambridgeshire County Council’s community energy team is pleased to invite you to an evening event focused on community energy in Cambridgeshire – bringing together expertise from community groups and local authorities to explore how we can develop sustainable and replicable community energy projects.
The event will include:
- An optional primer session for those new to community energy and those who would like a re-cap
- Insights into national strategy and local delivery
- Exploring financing options
- Cambridgeshire County Council’s support offer
- Ideas for a Cambridgeshire energy co-operative
Community energy puts people at the heart of the energy transition. It offers a way for communities to take ownership of energy generation and efficiency, helping to deliver local benefits such as lower bills, improved resilience, and stronger communities.
