Bats in Churches FREE Cleaning Workshop

A practical workshop in which we will explore and try-out simple techniques for reducing the impact of bat droppings and urine on church interiors, using methods that are sympathetic to historic materials. This type of cleaning aims to reduce the amounts of dirt, dust and damp in order to prevent damage occurring to your churches and their furnishings. We will also cover lots of other top-tips for the general care and cleaning of churches and discuss ongoing maintenance for the future, as well as when to call in a professional. It will be quite an informal session led by Heritage Advisors from the Church's Conservation Trust. Participants will receive a cleaning kit to take away with them afterwards.
