Community Consultation

Community Consultation

Good community consultation can be the key to success in any project, small or large.  Engaging with the wider community can highlight ideas and opportunities not previously considered, encourage new volunteers, raise the profile of your church, attract funding and garner support for your church in the longer term.

Consultation requires careful planning, a team of people and a genuine interest in engaging with the wider community. It should not just be seen as a tick box exercise for obtaining grants but should be an enjoyable and rewarding experience that benefits the mission and ministry of your church, of which the building is an important part.
