What three things can you do in August to take your first steps (or more!) as a church on your eco journey?

1. If your church’s gas, LPG or oil-fired heating system is more than 15 years old, contact the DAC to find out about the new guidance around church heating.
2. Register for Eco Church and identify someone or a team in your congregation to take on the role of taking your church towards its first Eco Church award.
3. Switch to a green electricity tariff at point of contract renewal – don’t forget to complete the VAT declaration to benefit from reduced VAT and CCL exemption for charities.
