Historic Cambridge city centre church St Bene't's, has committed to it's Net Zero Carbon and Eco Church journey, implementing sustainable practices wherever possible and reducing their carbon footprint significantly.
As part of this journey, they have recently installed 24 solar panels across all their available south-facing roof space. The church estimates that this will result in a reduction of almost 2te CO2 per annum in their carbon footprint.
You can read more about the South aisle roof solar panels project on the St Bene't's Church website.
